Greetings Felix,

I felt that your questionaire was inadequate to express out thanks and appreciation for the Orange River experience which we completed on Thursday 2 July '09.

The welcome, the accommodation, the trip itself and the great guys that looked after us all over the four days was exceptional.

I am in the service business and therefore appreciate the way in which we were managed and reassured. There were some very young children in our group and the rest were made up of the entire age spectrum.
Michael, Abel and Petrus, our guides looked after every aspect of every day. Accepted that we were not on a "booze cruise", but rather a family outing, they ensured that the humour was light and engaging. The entertainment organised each evening, included most of the party. It was the way that they handled the multifaceted aspect of their jobs that was so impressive.

I ask you to ensure that they are each praised individually, by someone who is their ultimate "boss".

In my case I took two daughters aged 13 and 15years. They were totally caught up in the experience and rate it as their best holiday - ever!

Sure some, including myself, were unable to stay in the boats at all times. The guides managed this so well, as if this was 'normal' and got everyone going again. In fact it became an essential element of the trip.

We all felt privileged to be part of this experience, which Felix, Carlos and others have so effectively engineered. I say this having done the trip on two previous occasions.
It was never so good.

To you and especially to the team on the Orange, my heartfelt thanks. We will never forget this and we are already making plans to return some time next year. We want to stay longer and relax in the great Cabanas!
