Round the Bend Lodge is designed around the Bride and Groom as a venue where memories are made and friendships forged, with its mesmerizing sunsets, romantic scenery and beautiful surroundings, the Lodge offers an experience to inspire the senses

Accommodation Overview
Round The Bend Lodge offers delightful ensuite thatched A-Frame chalets, enhanced by their natural setting, equipped with all you need for a relaxing stay
How many can Round The Bend Lodge sleep?
We can sleep 56 – 66 guests sharing in fixed chalet ensuite accommodation and an additional 150 guests sharing in tented accommodation with shared ablutions
What if I have a larger group than that?
We have accommodated groups of up to 200 guests, however the extra people need to be accommodated in tents that we outsource, hence the additional charge. The tents are very nicely done, with carpeting, lighting, 2 single beds and bedside tables
Is there a Bar available?
Yes, we have a fully licensed Bar at Round The Bend Lodge and guests are not permitted to bring their own drinks.
Is there a shop in case I forget something?
No
Can I pay my bar account by Credit Card?
Yes, all major credit cards are accepted
Can I download my email at the Lodge?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi at Round The Bend Lodge
Can I use my cell phone at the Lodge?
Yes, Round The Bend Lodge has both Vodacom and MTN reception
What is the minimum group size that I can book for?
We require a minimum of 6 in order to run a trip, however for exclusivity we require a minimum of 40 guests

The below is fully inclusive of the cost per person quoted.

A Handmade Driftwood Wedding Arch (2.6m high x 2m wide)

RECEPTION
The Main Lodge can comfortably seat 70 guests, however at a push we can accommodate 80 guests. For any groups larger, we would recommend hiring in a Bedouin to accommodate the guests for the Reception

The Staff at Round The Bend Lodge and Head Office are dedicated to making your day exactly what you hope it to be, catering to your every need and ensuring the highest standard of quality

Who will assist when, where and however necessary with the planning, organizing and managing of various suppliers, tasks and finer details in the months leading up to your wedding

CATERING
Included in the quoted rate per person:
All meals from meal on arrival to the last meal on day of departure – based on our Standard Menu options
Can we cater for ourselves?
No
Do you cater for all dietary requirements?
Yes we do, our only request is that we receive any and all dietary requirements as early as possible to ensure correct catering
Can we change the standard menu for the Reception meal?
Yes you are more than welcome to adjust the Reception meal, however we would need to do a costing with your amended itinerary to confirm whether or not the overall food costing falls within budget or if there would be additional costs for the items that you would like to include
Do you offer Canapés for guests after the Ceremony whilst the Bride and Groom are having their photographs taken?
Yes we can include canapés during this time, yet again, we would have to do a costing to ensure that it falls within the budget allocated for food
BAR
Considering the occasion, we do allow the Bridal party to bring in Table Wine and Champagne for the Reception only, however please note that there will be a corkage fee on the Table Wine only. The Champagne can be brought in free of charge
We do have a fully licensed and stocked bar at Round The Bend Lodge, with a wide variety of spirits, cocktails, wines, shooters, beers, ciders, coolers and soft drinks. There is also a self-service station with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and juice available at no additional cost which is available to guests 24-7
Please note that under no circumstance no other alcohol can be brought onto the property
Can we have Cocktails / Champagne served after the Ceremony while photographs are being taken?
Yes we can arrange this, however please note that there may be an additional cost for cocktails to be included
